No. 33 - Buy Some Shares, Or Part Of A Company

I have 'owned' some shares twice before, but they came to me, rather than me buy them
It was the mid nineties and all the building socities were becoming banks. Meant nothing to me, but for signing a bit of paper i would get a couple of grands worth of shares. Brilliant.
Sold all of them years ago, spent all the cash & have nothing to show for it.

Now i'd like to buy a bigger stake in a smaller company, or even a part of a company which means i guess i would also need to work there too?

After much preparation and dilema, I've bitten the bullet and started a company. A limited company no less.
And, unknown to me nearly three years ago when I created the list, I will "need to work there too" as I resigned from my safe day job (abeit that I was being made redundant anyhow), and so this is it. There are two of us starting this, although the website & concept I put together over 18 months ago.
Equal partners, with 1 share each.
World Banks are in crises, in the middle of a global recession, the UK economy is in the worst state than it has been in over 30 years, and here we are starting a company!

Bloomin' exciting though!
